Generally, most tattoos at our studio include one complimentary touch-up. This touch-up helps account for normal healing and ink settling. You can schedule your touch-up starting at 6 weeks after your original session.
Importance of Aftercare
Proper aftercare is essential for achieving the best results. The complimentary touch-up covers minor ink loss due to normal healing. However, it does not include the following:
Damage from sun exposure or soaking
Picking or friction
Design changes or additions
Work altered by another artist
Requests made after 6 months
If you need touch-ups outside of these conditions, they will be charged at the artist’s standard rate.
When to Schedule Your Touch-Up
After your tattoo has healed, you may want to assess its appearance. If you notice any areas that need improvement, it’s time to schedule your touch-up. Remember, this must be done at least 6 weeks after getting your tattoo, and no later than 6 months after getting your tattoo.
What to Expect During Your Touch-Up
During your touch-up appointment, the artist will evaluate your tattoo. They will address any areas that may have faded or healed unevenly. This process is quick and straightforward. You can expect to leave with a refreshed tattoo that looks vibrant and well-defined.
Conclusion
Caring for your tattoo is crucial for its longevity. By following the aftercare instructions and scheduling your complimentary touch-up within the specified time frame, you can ensure your body art remains stunning.
